Google turns 14!

Google turns 14! To all the maps, androids, gmails, you tube,

picasas, docs, drive, chromes, latitudes and so much more –

Cheers for making our lives easier! Happy birthday.

This doodle shall be up in the GOOGLE homepage
throughout the day. Google is popular and well known when
it comes to doodles. The doodles are designed based on
events ranging from news events, civic milestones,
birthdays, death anniversaries and important dates in
history. The recent ones of its hot stuff were the Olympic
doodles which lets user to play their own animated Olympic
game.

It was in the year 1998 when two Stanford university
students, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, got together to form
this company which has now become an integrated part of
our daily lives. Interestingly, the story behind ‘how it all
began’ was as simple as a Library Management Project at
Stanford.

Google History

Google began in March 1996 as a research project by Larry
Page and Sergey Brin, Ph.D. students at Stanford working
on the Stanford Digital Library Project (SDLP). The SDLP’s
goal was “to develop the enabling technologies for a single,
integrated and universal digital library.”

the press release is the fact that 100 million iOS device have already upgraded to iOS 6 which

is the latest operating system for Apple iPhone , iPad and iPod Touch. The OS update was

made available only on September 19th and it is amazing have so many devices have moved

Samsung Galaxy S4 to Launch in March 2013 – Specifications & Rumor Photos

Samsung and Apple are fierce rivals for the leadership in smart phone. The degree got hotter when the US based company launched iPhone 5 last week in response to Samsung Galaxy III and Galaxy Note 2. iPhone 5 received a mixed response from its consumers and industry experts as the device lacked innovative features. But still iPhone 5 is a better smart phone launched in competition with Galaxy S III.
Presently the Samsung is the #1 manufacturer leaving behind Apple and Nokia in the race. For Samsung to be king, it required their devices like Galaxy S, S II and S III released on time to compete in market. The Samsung Galaxy S III broke the record very recently by crossing 20 million unit sales in course of 100 days since the launch beating iPhone record.
Every year we see a new Galaxy S series successor available, and the debut of Galaxy S set the tone for Samsung initially. Furthermore when Galaxy S II was launched in the market, the scenario for Samsung even got better with device topping the charts in terms of sales. And with Samsung Galaxy III in the market, the launch event got so bigger in comparison with Apple iPhone launch events.
Samsung Electronics is planning to launch iPhone 5 killer in coming months and device should be definitely Galaxy S 4 as expected. But as we say, it could easily take another 6 months for the Korean giant to produce a device which is competitive & better in terms of hardware design and configuration.
The Korean giant is still to decide on what could be the exact Galaxy S 4 device looks like, whether it will include the flexible display technology or use the Super AMOLED Plus display. So far its design is kept the same with rounded corner concept but we might see some changes claimed by one of the Samsung’s local officials.
We see Samsung Galaxy S 4 certainly with better specifications and inclusion of quad core Exynos processor and better hardware configuration but nothing were released at this moment as it’s too early to comment on the device.
Market researchers and experts views Galaxy S4 a clear message to Apple as they are capable to widen its lead over Apple leaving behind the legal disputes. Samsung is expecting that it’s device will cross the 30 million unit sales in 100 days to break their record of Galaxy S III which was achieved very recently.
So what Apple is doing? US leading smart phone manufacturer is seeking a ban on 8 of the Galaxy Series Samsung which includes top sellers like Galaxy S, S II, S III, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 2 and few more tablets. While Apple looks to take copyright infringements case to next level, nothing worries Samsung from producing Samsung Galaxy S4.

Apple iPhone 5 Features Bigger Screen, Faster Processor, 4G & More

Apple iPhone 5 Features Bigger Screen,

Faster Processor, 4G & More

Apple has announced its newest iPhone at a press event in San Francisco. The features of the new iPhone match images and information leaked in recent months, including an elongated 4-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Display:
One big change compared to previous versions of the iPhone is the iPhone 5′s new 4-inch, 1136×640-resolution display with a pixel density of 326ppi. Since the touch sensors have also been integrated into the display, it is thinner and more responsive.

Networks:
The iPhone 5 will support the same networks as the iPhone 4S – HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA – and will also support LTE. Additionally, the iPhone 5 will support the 802.11n WiFi standards of 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
Performance:
From a performance perspective, Apple’s new iPhone will be powered by an A6 processor, which the company says will be twice as fast for both general processing and graphics rendering when compared to the A5 processor in the iPhone 4S.
Schiller introduced Rob Murray, an executive producer at EA Studios, who agreed with Apple’s performance claims and said the A6 will provide graphics that are “full console quality.”
Battery life is largely unaffected by the new network support, as Apple claims the iPhone 5 will last for up to eight hours of web browsing on either 3G or LTE networks; talk time is also eight hours on 3G networks.
Camera:
The phone will feature a rear-facing, 8-megapixel camera with a dynamic low light mode and precision lens alignment. Panorama photographs of up to 28 megapixels will be possible through the rear-facing camera. The front-facing camera has also been improved and is capable of 1080p FaceTime calls.
The iPhone 5 include an enhanced microphone array and higher quality cameras. Audio quality on the iPhone 5 has been improved compared to previous iPhone iterations through the inclusion of a three-microphone array – one microphone on the bottom, a second on the front and a third on the back.
Besides the phone’s new hardware, Apple announced a new digital connector for the device called “Lightning.”
The Lightning connector will replace the 30-pin connector Apple has used since the original iPod and features an easy-to-use design that’s 80 percent smaller than the 30-pin connector.

The iPhone 5 will run on Apple’s iOS 6 platform and include new features that make use of the longer display. Safari, for instance, has been improved to make use of the iPhone 5′s elongated display with a “fullscreen mode” when the device is horizontal.
The iPhone 5 will be available in white or black and come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions. Pricing with a two-year contract begins at $199 for the 16GB version and increases $100 for each increase in storage size.
